Don’t you think these little speakers from Hong Kong-based Oyo and Bernhard|Burkard Product Design look like a Tootsie Roll Pop?  The Ballo is actually a speaker with a rechargeable battery inside a polycarbonate shell.  It’s a 3.5″ sphere that’s compatible with most audio devices with a 3.5mm audio connector, and it automatically turns on when plugged in to a device.  ”A colorful belt fuses two hemispheres. It protects the speaker and increases the bass tones when lying on a surface.”  It’s available in ten colors, as shown in the image, and it’s available for $28.99 from BuyMeDesign.
