Facebook Introduces Gift Cards: Facebook Card gifts are rolling out gradually in the U.S. You’ll be able to give your friends “gifts to Jamba Juice, Olive Garden, Sephora and Target all on one reusable gift card from Facebook.” After you select a gift for a friend on Facebook and complete your purchase, your friend will be notified immediately and will then receive the Facebook Card in the mail.

"Facebook Cards are reusable. After you've received a card, the next time you get a Facebook Card gift, it will instantly be added to your existing card."

Twitter Enhances Photo and Video Viewing: Twitter’s latest enhancements “make it easier to view photos and videos on Twitter — in particular, on profiles and in search results.” And tweet pages now let you see more of the conversation related to a tweet.

"Click a photo from a profile page or in search results to see a larger version of that photo without leaving the page."
