Is it hot in here? Thermodo says “maybe so”

Have you ever wanted to know the temperature where you were, inside or outside? Thermodo by Robocat, a passive temperature sensor for your mobile devices, can tell you how hot or cold it is. The device works by plugging an external sensor into the headphone jack of your mobile device. Along with the temperature sensor, there will also be an iOS and Android app for you to use it with. The Thermodos come in either black or white plastic models or an anodized aluminum model. Thermodo is a Kickstarter project seeking funding until April 9, 2013. A pledge of $19 gets you a black Thermodo and $39 gets you an aluminum one. If funded, they are scheduled to ship in August 2013.
