Actually, folks, the HTC One S already got Jelly Bean

Look, we get that everyone's pissed off over the HTC One S not getting an update to Android 4.2.2. It sucks. We're right there with you. But there's been a growing but consistently wrong meme this evening — "The HTC One SV gets Jelly Bean but the HTC One S doesn't?!?!?! Ha ha!!!"

No. The HTC One SV is getting Android 4.1. Same as the HTC One S, which got its Jelly Bean update way back in December 2012 in Europe, and in April 2013 on T-Mobile here in the U.S.

It's Android 4.2.2 that the One S isn't getting. And if we had to put money on it, we wouldn't expect to see it on the One SV either.
